Facing criminal charges is overwhelming and terrifying. Ohio prosecutors are known to pursue criminal cases aggressively, and the penalties of a conviction are significant. Your whole life is at stake. If you were charged with a criminal offense or believe you are under investigation, you need experienced representation from a Ravenna criminal defense lawyer.
Since 2003, I have been fighting for clients across Ohio in a wide variety of criminal cases. As a firm, Christopher G. Thomarios, Esq. Understanding Your Charges
The criminal justice system is a mystery to most of my clients. Often, this will be the first and last time you ever encounter it. This makes dealing with your charges more difficult. Understanding the charges brought against you is the first step in fighting them. However, reading legal documents and understanding local, state, and federal law feels almost impossible for the average person. This is where I can help you.
I have experience with a wide range of criminal cases, including:
- Computer crimes
- Drug crimes
- Federal charges
- OVI charges
- Sex crimes
- Theft crimes
- Violent crimes
- Weapons charges
When you hire my firm to handle your case, I work hard to understand everything that is going on. Whether this is your first encounter with the court system, or you have a prior record, I believe that this single incident doesn't define you as a person. By taking a compassionate, holistic approach to legal defense, I can bring my clients the personalized legal representation they need to feel confident in court.
The Benefits of Working with an Experienced Attorney
A criminal conviction affects your life in both the short and long-term. While you may be immediately facing fines or a prison sentence, a conviction can also result in a permanent criminal record. Your criminal record can follow you throughout your life, making things as simple as finding work, getting an apartment, or attending college extremely difficult, if not impossible. With so much at stake, it is vital that you do everything you can to fight your charges.
When working with an experienced lawyer, like me, you may benefit from:
- Detailed guidance throughout your case
- Support both in and out of court
- Access to professional, investigative resources
- Someone to turn to when you have questions
- Peace of mind knowing that there is someone on your side
I have helped hundreds of clients fight their criminal charges, and I am prepared to use my nearly two decades of experience to help you. I understand how the court system works, and I know how prosecutors operate. I have also defended cases at both state and federal levels. Whether you're facing misdemeanor or felony charges, I am standing by to advocate for you.
“Chris leaves no stone unturned, no argument left unsaid, and no detail unexamined. He was always quick to get back to me with any question I had, even often outside of work hours.”
